Disclaimer

Dead As Sync is a fan-made community project and is not an official Dead As Disco project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the developers or publishers of Dead As Disco. We do not own or develop the game; we build tools, lists, and systems to support the player community.

1. Ownership of content

We do not own or claim ownership of any songs, audio, artwork or other copyrighted material referenced by this database. All rights remain with their respective owners.

2. Use of the service

This database and any downloadable content are provided for personal, non-commercial use in connection with compatible rhythm games. You may not redistribute song packs or data for commercial purposes without permission from the original rights holders.

3. Content, links and responsibility

We do not host song files on this site. Download links point to third-party storage and external services. We have no control over those services and are not responsible for their availability, safety, legality, or any damage, loss of data, bans, or other consequences that may result from using them. You use all downloads and links entirely at your own risk.

4. Accuracy of information

Song metadata (BPM, offset, etc.) is provided as-is and may contain errors or change over time. Always verify in-game if needed.

When you use Dead As Sync, we may collect the following information:

Account Information
When signing in through Discord, we may receive: Discord User ID, Username, Display Name, Profile Avatar, and Account Authentication Information provided through Discord. We do not receive your Discord password.

User Content
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including: song submissions, metadata corrections, support requests, profile information, and favorites and account preferences.

Technical Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information such as browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, error logs, and usage analytics. This information helps maintain platform security and performance.

2. How We Use Information

Information may be used to: create and manage user accounts, authenticate users, provide platform features, process submissions, prevent abuse and spam, improve platform functionality, investigate technical issues, and respond to support requests. We do not sell user data.

3. Data Storage

User data is stored using third-party infrastructure and services that may include: Discord (authentication), Supabase (account and application data), and Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security, and content delivery). These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.

4. Public Information

Certain information may be visible to other users, including: username, display name, profile avatar, contributor status, badges, or public achievements, and publicly visible submissions where applicable. Users should avoid sharing personal information through submissions or profile content.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Dead As Sync may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, and maintain platform functionality. Disabling these technologies may affect certain features.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain account functionality, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations. Inactive or deleted accounts may have certain information retained where required for security, moderation, or legal purposes.

7. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Dead As Sync account. Upon deletion request: access to the account will be removed, personal account information will be deleted where reasonably possible, and certain records may be retained for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or administrative purposes. Public contributions may remain attributed to a deleted or anonymized account.

Reasonable measures are taken to protect user information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Dead As Sync relies on third-party providers to operate the platform. These providers may include: Discord, Supabase, and Cloudflare. Your use of those services may also be governed by their respective policies.
